So if you’ve ever wondered how to cook pakora, we’ve put this guide together.
The healthiest option is oven baking.
Simply arrange the pakora on a baking tray, drizzle with a little bit of oil and bake for around 15 minutes.
For a crispier pakora, try air frying.
Preheat the air fryer to 180C, arrange the pakora in a single layer in the basket and add a little oil. Cook for around 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
The traditional cooking method is deep frying.
Heat oil in a deep pan to 180C, and fry the pakoras for around 5 minutes. Once cooked, remove excess oil from the pakora with kitchen roll.
You can also shallow fry your pakora.
Add a little oil to a frying pan, and cook the pakora for around 5 minutes. Flip the pakora to ensure all sides are cooked evenly.
However you choose to cook the pakora, you should serve with chutney, a yoghurt dip or a little side salad.
