Protocol
The protocol which we follow now is simple, we ask the customer to take a picture of the product and send us this, this should include the sticker which indicates the use by date. We can then refund them or send out a fresh product. We would ask the customer to dispose of the product as once the bag has been opened, we cannot reuse this product. We ask that when the product is collected, that it be placed in a fridge and not brought up above 5 degrees, as this will preserve the life of the product up to its full shelf life. Once opened the product can be frozen but when defrosted, must be consumed within 24 hours.
On cancellations, we would like cancellations to be allowed up to the point of collection as soon as the product is collected then we cannot refund.
Trade orders, which are usually frozen, must be placed a week in advanced as this must be cooked, frozen and palletised.
If you need any further information, just give me a quick email and I will try and help as best as I can.
Delivery
When a delivery is received, we ask that the box is unpacked and placed in the fridge as soon as possible. This will ensure that the product lasts the full shelf life displayed on the packaging.
We would ask when orders are placed online for home delivery, that you ensure that someone is present at the property to receive the order. As this is a food product, we cannot leave the delivery outside or in a safe place. At this point we do not take responsibility for the product and we cannot reimburse you for your purchase. In the event of product being damaged inside the packaging, we ask that you take pictures of the product which clearly illustrates the use by date of the product which is damaged.
